Apophenia

Apophenia is a tendency to perceive meaningful connections or patterns between unrelated elements.

In choreographic research, apophenia guides a process-driven method. This method continually seeks logical correlations among seemingly disparate ideas, individuals, and contexts. Through this approach, relationships within apparent randomness are meticulously nuanced. Practice becomes an unfolding, perpetual exploration, weaving these connections into a narrative that adds depth, dimensions, and forms.
