Undecidability

The quality, belonging to an object – gesture, artistic practice, performative work, curatorial intervention… – of creating a suspension in meaning and an overall impossibility of deciding 'what is this?'

Undecidability generates a space where different realities can live next to one another without composing a common horizon, and different bodies participate in the emergence of an unknowable collective entity. By the multiplicity of imaginations, fictions, reverberations and refractions that it entails, this collective entity initiates a circulatory movement, transforming the object into a world over which no one can exercise a full control.
