Horizon of Liberation

To think the horizon is to think a place that always signals a beyond. In gesturing toward a beyond we refuse to fix liberation as a static, presupposed thing we can simply arrive at. A horizon of liberation identifies liberation as a landscape that must be navigated; a sightline that will produce further sightlines; a portal the other side of which exists a new topography to navigate; a place that is simultaneously (Im)possible.

You can never arrive and you can always move toward.
